5. UNS N06230 Heat Treatment & Key Properties

  • Heat treatment: Solution annealed at 1177‑1246°C, fast air cool or water quench. Full records, PMI, and mechanical certs per batch.
  • Room‑temperature (annealed): Tensile ≥827 MPa, Yield ≥345 MPa, Elongation ≥40%, Hardness ≤240 HB.
  • Physical: Density 8.97 g/cm³; Thermal expansion (20‑1000°C) ≈13.1×10⁻⁶/°C. Supports continuous service to 1149°C.
