304/304L Stainless Steel Pipe Applications
Type 304/304L stainless steel is widely used throughout industry, particularly in food processing, as it is not susceptible to acid corrosion in common foods. This makes it very suitable for use in sinks, worktops, prep areas and refrigerators. It is also an ideal material for the pharmaceutical industry, such as clean rooms. Due to the lower carbon content of ASME SA312 Grade 304l, its strength is lower than that of regular 304.
