However, the incorporation of titanium in the alloy can limit its applications. Many manufacturers do not recommend using A403 WP321 Elbows with certain welding techniques because the alloy is not consumable. Despite this limitation, Stainless Steel 321 possesses outstanding forming characteristics, eliminating the need for annealing after welding the SS 321 Pipe Fittings. Additionally, these fittings maintain toughness across a wide temperature range, demonstrating good tensile strength even at cryogenic temperatures. Fittings like the UNS S32100 Tee are often preferred over Grade 304 due to their enhanced resistance to creep and rupture. Nevertheless, both Grade 304 and Stainless Steel Alloy 321 are susceptible to stress-related corrosion cracking.
